Genus/Species: Belonostomus sp. (bony fish) Locality: Main Street Formation, Texas Age: Cretaceous Dimensions: [to be added] Self-collected in 2020.  Associated Cretaceous fish vertebrae.
After one successful hunt at this spot last year, I went back the next day to try my luck again. I only managed to come home with a couple of pieces but was very happy with this one. These vertebrae have been tentatively identified as belonging to Pachyrhizodus. To see the video from I discovered it, click here to go to my Instagram post.
